    Strategy Basics for Online Blackjack

Online blackjack is one of the most popular games in the online casino industry and a big reason why is that it is a game that offers both strategy and yet simplicity. The key to success is to not outsmart a game that doesn’t need to be outsmarted. All you have to learn to do when you want to play blackjack and win, is learn to beat the dealer. Sounds simple right, but many beginners forget this simple rule. Your hand, as well as the hands of other players are played against the dealer only. Blackjack players do not play against one another like in poker.

Blackjack dealers don’t make decisions about play; all his decisions are automatic, and dictated by the rules of the game. You however get to make decision about play, and if you make the right ones you may just come out ahead. A round begins with each player placing a bet in the circle logo right in front of them. The dealer then gives each player and himself two cards. Players’ cards are usually dealt face up, the dealer has one card facing up and the other facing down which is called the hole card. If the dealer has a ten or ace as his up card it is possible he has blackjack, in which case all players will lose except those holding another blackjack In the even the dealer has an ace as the up card he will allow the players to insure there hand against a blackjack. This is much like an insurance policy in which you are betting something bad will happen.

Remember this one rule, follow the dealer. No matter what cards you are dealt, take a hit on 16 or lower and stand on 17 or higher. Playing with this concept should make you a winner.
