    Blackjack Simplicity

Blackjack is a beautiful game of chance as it combines simplicity with enough strategy to make for a perfect balance. Beyond that blackjack has less of a house edge for a gambler to overcome than do many other online casino games.

The object of blackjack is to beat the house dealer by scoring as close to “twenty-one“(which is another name for this game), without going over or “bust.”

The card values are as follows; An ace counts for either one or eleven, cards two through ten count for their respective face values and then all court cards, (jack, queen, king), count for ten points.
To begin play at online casino blackjack the dealer will deal out two cards to each player. A “natural” hand making for a perfect twenty-one points would be an ace and another card counting for ten points.

Once your hand is dealt you can “surrender” in which you immediately fold and half of your bet is returned to you. You can also ask for a “hit” which is an additional card being dealt to you. Keep in mind, however, that you cannot EXCEED a total of twenty-one points on your blackjack hand, which is known as going “bust.”

You can also “split pairs” by playing two different hands with cards of equal value or go “double” which is an additional bet on a newly dealt card.

You can also take “insurance” which is offered by the dealer when he draws an ace. The offer of insurance allows a player to bet half of his original bet.

Blackjack rules do vary at different online casino websites and should be carefully check before playing.
